I have worked with Starmore&Boss over many years and have helped them turn their thriving boutique wine and spirit shop into 2 shops with tasting event capabilities.

Starmore&Boss sell drinks from small batch, handmade, organic and family-owned businesses around the world, so I was thrilled to be chosen by them to create unique display furniture for their boutique shops.

The 2 shops have been furnished over many years, so rather than choosing a look and copy pasting it over both stores top to bottom, I have created unique pieces for each space in the shop one at at time. The bespoke and unique display furniture reflects the nature of their artisan crafted drinks, each one different in it's origin and process.

I was inspired to create this 'wine wall' after a swimming trip to a Peak district reservoir where I saw the stone-supported embankment with it's organised-chaos of hand-hewn stones. I wanted to bring this organised-but-non-uniform energy to the display.

Using a mix of man-made boards for the storage with reclaimed timber fronts.

I created the 'specials cave' in the centre, inspired by a 'specials cage' I had made previously in their other store, where higher priced items can be shown off in the backlight nook.
